Terms of Service and policies for:

CREATE Your Course: Turn Your Work into a Workshop (referred to as the “Course”)

CREATE Your Course: Lab (referred to as the “Lab”)

Course Structure
  • The Course consists of 3 live sessions, each 2 hours long, spaced over 3 weeks.
  • Sessions follow a fixed schedule.
  • Participants will have access to session recordings for 30 days after the course concludes.
  • Course materials will be delivered to all registered participants at or just before the start of the first session.
Lab Structure:
  • The Lab consists of monthly online meetings, each 1-hour long
  • Lab sessions follow a fixed schedule but sessions may be rescheduled by the instructor due to unforeseen circumstances. 
  • Members will have access to session recordings as long as their Lab membership remains active.
  • Members will have access to the CREATE Your Course: Learning Library as long as their membership is active. 
Pricing and Payment
  • The Course fee is a one-time payment.
  • The Lab fee is a one-time per quarter or one time per year annual payment. 
  • Accepted payment methods: Credit card.
Refund Policy
  • Full refunds for Course or Lab are available by request at least 48 hours prior to the first session.
  • No refunds will be made after that.
  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to the instructor.
  • Refund decisions are at the sole discretion of the instructor.
  • No refunds will be given for the Lab once the CREATE Your Course: Learning Library has been accessed. 
Attendance and Participation
  • Participants are strongly encouraged to attend all Course or Lab live sessions to maximize their learning experience.
  • If a participant misses a live Course session, they can access the recording for up to 30 days after the last session. 
  • If a member misses a live Lab session, they can access the recording from the Learning Library as long as their membership is active. 
  • There will be no refunds for missed sessions.
Course Materials
  • Course participants will retain lifetime access to their workbooks or other handouts.
  • All Course materials, including workbooks and session recordings, are for participants’ personal use only.
Lab Materials: CREATE Your Course: Lab Learning Library
  • Members will retain access to materials in the Learning Library as long as their membership remains active.
  • All Learning Library materials are for participants’ personal use only.
Intellectual Property
  • All Course and Lab materials, including but not limited to workbooks, presentations, and recordings, remain the intellectual property of the course creator, Sheila B. Robinson, Custom Professional Learning, LLC.
  • All Course and Lab materials, including but not limited to workbooks, presentations, and recordings may not be shared, distributed, uploaded to any site, or posted anywhere without explicit written permission from the course creator, Sheila B. Robinson, Custom Professional Learning, LLC.
  • Participants are prohibited from recording live sessions.
AI Notetakers
  • AI notetakers are NOT permitted in the Course or Lab and will be removed. There is a vulnerability in Zoom that allows AI notetakers to bypass waiting rooms and enter meetings without the host’s consent. These bots can take over the Zoom recording. In order for me to provide course participants access to a recording, there must not be any 3rd party AI Notetakers in the Zoom meeting rooms. 
Participant Conduct
  • Participants are expected to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor throughout the Course and Lab sessions. This includes showing respect to the instructor and fellow participants in all interactions.
  • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the course without refund.
  • Participants should contribute to a positive learning environment by:
    • Being punctual for live sessions
    • Participating actively and constructively in discussions
    • Respecting diverse opinions and experiences
    • Refraining from personal attacks or offensive language
  • The instructor reserves the right to mute or remove participants who violate these conduct guidelines.
Technical Requirements
  • The Course and Lab meetings will be conducted via Zoom.
  • Participants must have a device with a working camera and microphone.
  • A stable internet connection is required for optimal participation.
  • Participants are responsible for testing their equipment before the course begins.
Communication and Support
  • All Course and Lab-related communications will be conducted via email.
  • Questions or concerns should be directed to the instructor via email.
  • The instructor will make every effort to respond to inquiries within 48 business hours.
Accessibility
  • We strive to make the Course and Lab accessible to all participants. If you require any specific accommodations to fully participate, please contact the instructor at least one week prior to the first session.
  • Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate individual needs, but some requests may not be able to be implemented due to the nature of the course or technical limitations.
Privacy and Data Protection
  • Participant information will be collected and stored securely, used only for course-related purposes.
  • Email addresses will not be shared with other participants or third parties without explicit consent.
  • Sessions will be recorded for later access by course participants only. By participating in the Course and/or Lab experience, you consent to being recorded during live sessions.
  • Participants are prohibited from recording any part of the Course or Lab without explicit permission from the instructor and course creator, Sheila B. Robinson, Custom Professional Learning, LLC.
Course and Lab Sessions Cancellation or Rescheduling
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, technical failures), individual sessions may need to be rescheduled. Every effort will be made to find a suitable alternative date.
  • If the entire Course needs to be canceled, all participants will receive a full refund.
  • The instructor reserves the right to cancel the Course if minimum enrollment numbers are not met. In this case, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
Grievance Procedure
  • If a participant has a complaint or grievance related to the Course or Lab content, instruction, or another participant’s behavior, they should first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the instructor via email.
  • All grievances will be taken seriously and addressed in a timely manner.

By registering for the Course or Lab, participants agree to abide by these policies. The instructor reserves the right to modify these policies as needed, with notice provided to all participants.
